An app update released in June 2020 introduced an issue where your ACE device could fail after a firmware upgrade. This may cause the ACE device to repeatedly restart the recording process, preventing the normal operation of the ACE device.

If you are currently experiencing this issue, please follow the instructions below to restore functionality to your ACE device:

1. On your desktop computer, download the file ACE2_UCOM.bin file from http://advancedcareye.com/micom/ACE2_UCOM.bin and copy it onto the ACE 2.0 SD Card.
   
ATTENTION: Make sure that there is no ACE2.BRN file on the SD Card (if there is one, delete it).
2. Insert the SD Card into the ACE 2.0

3. The ACE 2.0 will start the update process – the green and red LED are flashing 
(if it doesn’t start by itself please start the engine of the car).

4. When the update is finished, please check the functionality of the ACE 2.0
